Yael and Yahel in India: The subjective travel guide for the Indian subcontinent

What can you find in this guide:

In this website you can find a virtual version of our traveling experiences in India and living in Dharamsala area - Mcloed Ganj, Bhagsu-Nag and Dal lake/Naddi.

While roaming the Indian Subcontinent since 2003, we gathered a lot of information about India that we are happy to share.
Here, you can experience India through our eyes. I divided the website into 'Virtual experiences' and 'Active experiences', giving you the opportunity to choose between different Indian experiences and different virtual ways to get to know India.
In the 'Virtual India' side you can read our Diary and Blog which tells our different stories while traveling around India on two motorcycles. Yahel is driving the blue Indian-made Honda CBZ while I am following him on the red Hero Honda CBZ. Most of the traveling was done on motorcycles but some traveling around India was also done on my bicycle: I was cycling in Goa and Puna and in other parts of western India. Naturally we are also traveling a lot by trains, as trains are a very efficient transportation in India. Sometimes we are traveling by train with the motorcycles, sometimes by train with the bicycle, and sometimes just us...
In the Photo Album you can see our pictures from the different corners of India. Though we are traveling a long time, India is very big and we still haven't covered the entire subcontinent. You can find pictures from Ladakh, Uttaranchal, Himachal (Manali, Nagger, Dharamsala area, Kinaur valley, Shimla), Amritsar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Agra, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Kutch, Maharashtra (Mumbai/Bombay, Alhadabad, Ajanta and Ellora, Pune etc.), Goa and probably few more places in India that I missed in this list.
In the Architecture section you can find the architect's point of view about India, mainly India's Architecture in pictures. This part is still under construction.
In the Impressions section you will find our subjective choice of different aspects of India. These are especially from our first period in India.
In the 'Get Activated' side you should start by joining us in celebrating our wedding which will take place in Kerela in February 2006. If you missed the actual wedding - join our Virtual Wedding
In The Main Bazar you can come and shop for different objects in an Online Indian Bazar, souvenirs and handicrafts from India. We chose a bunch of items like shawls, bags, Cushion Covers, Lamp-Shades etc. made by Indians from all over India or Tibetans here in Dharamsala. The items we chose are very Indian but can be enjoyed all over the world! so if you want to buy some cheap Indian items, Kashmiri shawls, Kashmiri embroidery items etc. no need to fly to India anymore- just visit the Main Bazar.
If you want to be even more active then you can join one of our real trips in India. We are organizing trips which are concentrated in learning and experiencing the local culture, architecture and handicrafts of India. Check ADAMA Trips to see when is the up coming trip to India.
And if your are more of an extreme type, visit Summit Adventures office, offering climbing, mountaineering and trekking all around the Himalayas and especially but not limited to the Dhuladhar range.
Finally, if you have any comment, question or suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Enjoy!
